Tomorrow is out Connections Luncheon, so Peggy and I were working all day to try to organize last-minute details that we need to finish before the event tomorrow. I made name tags for everyone who is going to attend the event. I also organized the RSVP list for the event so we can track who attended and who didn't.
After that, I wrote thank you cards to renewing and new members of the YWCA community. One member includes former intern - Chelsea!!
Before the day got too busy, Peggy brought in more donations for La Friperie. We decided that I would sort through them on Wednesday so we could deliver them to storage on Thursday. This way, we can keep everything organized and the conference room won't become a storage closet.
After lunch, Peggy and I began brainstorming ideas for the upcoming online auction. We decided on a few dates and tried to nail down some basic information so we can get it approved before purchasing the online auction space. Everything seems to be coming together very well for the upcoming auction. I'll begin soliciting for donations early next week, once we figure out their advertising benefits. All we need now is an official title for the auction, that way it's not just called "YWCA Online Auction." We want something catchy and inviting so people will know they are helping a good cause.
I guess that'll be my unofficial homework for tonight - brainstorm.
Until tomorrow!
