Well this wraps up my first week here at the YWCA. This morning I arrived at work with a few more things to wrap up that I've been working on all week. Peggy, Chelsea and SonJa went to a real estate meeting, as I said in my last post, and that lasted until after lunch. Good news is that things look promising for this location. The more I hear about La Friperie, the more excited I get.
This morning, I successfully finished archiving the lists of previous donors for the silent auction/event that is held by the YWCA to help raise funds that will benefit the efforts of this organization.
After lunch, I spent the afternoon combining and organizing all the information into one giant list that only records the contact information of each donor so I can have one master list to look at whenever I begin soliciting for donations for the online auction. After I finished that, I began looking at the old letters that were sent out to solicit donations and I extracted relevant information that could be used again in order to try to create a new template which can be used this year.
Today was Chelsea's last day, which was really sad. I enjoyed having someone to work with all day.
Until next week!
